Not everything was better before, but some things are worth looking at in a new context. I wanted to look at how a designer can be inspired by heritage handicrafts. I took the construction, materials and aesthetic for my chairs from my experiences in the art of boatbuilding.

Solid, well-crafted furniture inspired by cultural heritage and clinker construction, combined with excellent handicraft skills and fine material handling. Alongside perfect detail work, these chairs will only grow more beautiful with age.
