Interior images enable us to express and alter our identity on social media. In my project, I create a digital apartment and make it seem like it’s my real home using rendered images on Instagram. A section of the apartment is CNCmilled into a sculpture that physically encapsulates the digital space.

We don’t only live in our homes, we also live in a flow of homes as representation. In this work, a virtual copy of a dream apartment is occupied by young people affected by the housing crisis. From a very clever piece of digital art, a mirror image arises that poses hard questions about ownership, taste and longing.
