Little journalist is a tool where children and young people can play at being a journalist. Together, they can create and factcheck news and fake news. The concept is about establishing a collaboration between local journalists, schools and pupils.
As physical newspapers have become increasingly digitised, children have less insight into the media world of adults. Children and young people today risk growing up with a weak connection to local media, and it’s important to highlight this.

A meaningful, engaging and well-implemented concept that suggests a playful way to learn about ethical journalism. A fine process, a well-crafted material and a high visual level have produced a teaching aid with innovative methods and forms of collaboration.
