The Collector is a personal art project where I use tapestry weaving as a way of giving time a shape. I’ve used the experiences and topics that have filled my life in the past year, as a visual diary where I philosophise on the concept of time. It includes the time we live in, time that passes and the time I’ve spent on my craft.

A woven diary that mixes different visual memoirs becomes a hymn to slowness, where the speed of the fleeting and absent-minded meets the slowing-down of the handicraft. A digital expression full of symbolism is skilfully interwoven with textile tradition.
